Miso,a traditional Japanese food made by fermenting soyabeans which contain not only protein but also minerals,vitamins and micro organisms.Studies shows that Miso contains lecithin,isoflavanes,saponins and Vit E.Isoflavanes in Miso helps to inhibit visceral fat accumulation and also to maintain good glycemic control in females.
Studies conclude that there is a relationship between habitual miso consumption and glycemic variability in female but not in male with T2DM.
