VS Babu ,the person who developed his political skills in DMK itself and elected to assembly in 2006 from Purasaiwalkam.Once a close associate of Stalin,Babu as North Chennai District Secretary and also incharge of Kolathur consistuency during 2011 Assembly elections.

Then he was removed from Secretary post and replaced by P K Sekar babu who had joined DMK from ADMK.Feeling humiliated VS babu left DMK and joined ADMK but even there he lacked recognition.He joined Tamilaga Vetri Kalagam (TVK) led by Vijay.He informed Vijay to stand in Kolathur and with the deep understanding of DMK s strategies he executed a well calculated campaign to secure victory.

After victory VS Babu mimicked Stalin s signature finish gesture.All this comes under one effect which is called Giant killer effect.Giant is MK Stalin and killer which means defeater is considered as Giant killer.
